A couple months ago I made this dress:

Well, I just love that orange color and had some left over, so I decided to reconstruct a recent thrift store find.
Before (Just ignore the purple marks. It wasn’t until after I started marking it up that I realized I should take a “before” picture. Oops!)..
And after! Easy peasy!

Aw, I love both of these. The reconstructed thrift one is a little more easy breezy, but I can imagine the handmade one being worn in a lot of different ways. 🙂 I wish I had sewing talent.
Thanks Betsy! I’m glad you like them. You could totally learn to sew! It’s just like cooking, you follow a recipe and ta-da! The key is just lots of patience and accepting trial and error as part of the process.
