Design Sponge Santa Cruz City Guide

santacruzguide

So stoked to be mentioned in this Santa Cruz City Guide on Design Sponge! This in-depth guide provides great information for locals and travelers alike on the best places to shop, restaurants to eat at, and activities to explore in Santa Cruz.

Some of my Santa Cruz musts include shopping at Stripe Design Group (duh!) and Cameron Marks, grabbing coffee and a chocolate croissant at Verve Coffee Roasters, enjoying a delicious Italian dinner at Lillian’s (including at cocktail at The Crepe Place down the street while you wait for your table), and a nice walk or bike ride along West Cliff Ave.

You can read the full guide here.

The Character’s Dress featured in Santa Cruz Fashion Week

Santa Cruz Fashion Week is in full effect and killing it with fall looks from Cameron Marks (the store just got a bunch of Lauren Moffatt fall 2012 items in – Go!), Stripe (Santa Cruz’s apple of my eye), Wallflower (stocked with cute, original outfits at great prices), Synergy (comfy knits that transfer from the yoga studio to the street), and Tomboy (adore – they always have new awesome western inspired pieces at affordable prices). The outfits, styled by Missy Schnaps, are all perfect for fall while still being real life “wearable”.

I’m happy to say The Character’s Dress made it as one of the two looks for Stripe! Take a look at the beautiful photos by Nick Chao and check out the full post HERE.
